'It's funny now how many agree that it was a dodgy conviction. 18 months ago anything to do with Sheffield United was not flavour of the month and most accused me of being a rapist or apologist for a rapist. Willtell, you've called others warped liars but what you initially said was this:

When questioned on it you made these two comments in reply:

"I've seen friends do that and as I said, I would never do that!”

“I actually was in that position several years ago where my mates did and I could have had a turn by invitation. I don't do sloppy seconds.”

Not sure what other conclusion anyone could possibly come to from that. If you'd said at the start that you'd just stumbled upon an orgy then obviously no-one would have made those comments.

The way you defend yourself, if you had been Ched Evans' lawyer he'd have been sent down for life.

The thread had moved to discussing a Muslim rapist that got off with a warning for rape at knife-point while a footballer's sloppy seconds "rape" gets jail...

Being branded a rapist is second only to being a called a paedophile imo.

Regardless of his arrogant, adulterous (even though he wasn't married at the time but you get the idea) behaviour, I have the utmost sympathy for someone falsely accused of this.

If new evidence PROVES that the alleged victim was lying then I really hope that she gets severe punishment for the grief she has caused including being named publicly.

In fact, she should be forced to pay his loss of earnings as best she can (taking into account that she likely will never earn anywhere near the amount over the course of her life).
